Positive Thinking Brings Positive Things

This is the reflection of my more than two months journey of learning, sharing and improving at Amal Academy. For those who don't know about Amal Academy, it is a three months Stanford based online career prep fellowship for personal and professional development.

I was more impacted by the sessions and weekly assignments in which the fellows have to come up with their purpose, strengths, weaknesses and WHY of their life. That was very difficult for me because I didn’t know my purpose but finally through the online courses provided by Amal Academy, I found my purpose and what I wanted to achieve in my life step by step. Before that, I would consider myself a useless person in the world. The whole point is that you have to be positive and look deep into the matter to extract some useful stuff.

Similarly, I lacked self-confidence and trust in myself. I couldn't find my strengths either but during a 15-minute one-on-one session with my program manager (Ma’am Rabia), she encouraged me to have some faith and trust in you and everything will be all right. These words impacted me enough to have trust in myself. Thanks Ma’am, if you are reading this !

Also, the constructive and appreciative feedback from my team members helped a lot in improving certain things in my personal and professional life.

In the end, I would just say that there is positivity in everything, don’t lose hope, you just have to look it up. Just consider each challenge as an opportunity for learning and experience. In spite of all your efforts if you weren’t able to come up with a positive thing, have a meetup with your mentor, if you don’t have then find one.

Thanks. Be Safe.
